What will I need to bring on my motorhome holiday?

You can bring whatever you like, but leave the kitchen sink at home. We will provide a washing-up bowl and washing-up liquid.

We know exactly what is required for a successful holiday, so we provide all the utensils you need for cooking, including a corkscrew and tin opener. We can also provide linen packs to save you the trouble of packing your own bedding and towels.

Although motorhomes have cleverly designed storage space, some of our customers welcome the extra space provided by a roof rack, which can be fitted as an extra if required.

We can also fit bike racks if you want to bring bicycles with you.

Is it difficult to drive a motorhome?

Driving your hired motorhome can seem daunting at first, but many models are similar in width to a large family car. The only thing that you need to consider is the extra width created by the large side mirrors. You need to bear this in mind when navigating narrow spaces.

However, motorhomes have plenty of features, making them safe and easy to drive. Most models include a high-quality reversing camera as standard.

Our rental staff will be able to give you plenty of tips and advice on handling your motorhome when you visit our showroom.

 

Levelling your motorhome

Many customers are unfamiliar with the concept of levelling their motorhome, but it is an important lesson to learn before setting off.

When parking, levelling your motorhome is essential to ensure your water and gas supplies work safely. If you park without levelling your vehicle, you may find that the kitchen cupboards won't close and that food slides off the table.

Your hire contract includes the Camping and Caravanning Club membership, which allows you to take your dog to more than 60 campsites at no extra cost.

Paying for your motorhome hire

When booking your motorhome, the reservation team will ask you for a £250 deposit. We will request full payment two months before you pick up your vehicle.

Please be aware that we may charge a young driver surcharge

 

Transfers for non-UK visitors

We provide a transfer service from Manchester Airport or Piccadilly Railway Station in Manchester city centre to our showroom in Bury, Greater Manchester.
