12th Century Parish Church of St Mary's

Monymusk has been inhabited since the Stone Age. It was connected to Christianity in the 5th century and the parish church of St Mary's was once part of an Augustinian Priory (11th-16th century). In 1929 the church was restored to its original condition and it is now one of the finest parish churches in Scotland. The church houses the Monymusk Stone.
