Ireland is an island in the North Atlantic, which is split into Northern Ireland which is part of the United Kingdom and The Republic of Ireland which is its own country. When traveling to Ireland no visa is needed but a passport is required. The currency in Northern Ireland is Pound Sterling and in the Republic of Ireland it is the Euro.

The sunniest time to visit is May to June but the warmest time is July to August, the coldest time to visit is between November to March. Pack ready for rain no matter when your visit.

Some local food to try in Ireland is a full Irish breakfast, Dublin lawyer lobster, colcannon, Irish whiskey, Dublin coddle, Irish coffee, and Carrageen moss pudding.

Some of the local culture in Ireland is to greet each other with a firm handshake and eye contact. A reverse peace sign is considered to be an offensive gesture.

South Dublin – Camac valley tourist camping and caravan park is located a short distance from Dublin city centre. It is on the edge of a 300 acre estate near Clondalkin which is great for walks, fishing and a short bus ride from the city centre. The buses to the centre pick up from the front gate and the sightseeing tour leaves at 9:30 every day. Some of the top things to do and see in Dublin are visiting the Guinness storehouse, Kimmainham Gaol, Glasnevin cemetery museum, the little museum of Dublin, Croke park stadium, Irish whiskey museum, National botanic gardens, and much more from landmarks and culture to nightlife and shows. http://www.camacvalley.com/

Waterford – Newtown cove caravan and camping park is located in the South East of the country. Facilities on one site include a children’s playground and games room. Nearby attractions include the Waterford crystal visitor centre and city walking tour, the copper coast geopark, Reginald’s tower, and Hook lighthouse. West cork – Eagle point camping is located on a South Western peninsular right on the water’s edge. There’s plenty to do onsite – some facilities include tennis courts, football pitch, sea access, pebbled beaches, and fishing. Nearby facilities include a golf course and indoor swimming pools.
