Some information on the Belgian culture is that it is an insult to snap your fingers to get someone’s attention and the sign for ‘ok’ means zero. Shake hands when meeting and leaving, avoid patting someone’s back or shoulders. Public transport is considered good but is often congested. Avoid asking questions that could be regarded as personal.

Limburg, Opglabbeek, Belgium – Wilhelm Tell has nearby towns with historical sites and restaurants. On the site there is a fishing lake at Camping Zavelbos or swimming, sailing, and kayaking on the 20-hectare lake at Camping De Binnenvaart. There is also horse riding as well as walking and cycling tracks. Some excursions that the area has to offer are a waterpark, Zolder car racing and motor sport circuit, castles and gardens, petting zoos, climbing walls, playgrounds, museums and many more.
Antwerp, Belgium – Camping De Molen is located near the St. Anne Beach and the harbour of Antwerp. Some great activities to do with children are a visit to the Antwerp zoo which was built in the mid 1800’s, has over 5,000 animals, and is located near the train station. Onze Lieve Vrouwekathedraal (Cathedral of Our Lady) is one of the biggest gothic churches after 170 years of construction. Sint Anna Tunnel is also a beautiful place to take children, with great views as well as a nautical playground and a small beach. Finally, there are the Chocolate Line’s located in the Meir Palace where you can watch the chocolate being made and try some while in the court yard.
