How far can I travel in my campervan?

Will my motorhome hire have a double bed?

Our larger motorhomes offer a luxurious travelling experience; many have spacious double beds to ensure a good night's sleep. Our larger models have been carefully designed to provide stylish spaces like a U-shaped lounge to relax and spend time together.

Compact campervans often have pull-down beds that comfortably accommodate two.

 

Is campervan or motorhome hire best for me?

Fredhome offers both motorhome and campervan hire.

Campervans and motorhomes are different types of vehicles.

A campervan is based on a large van chassis, and clever use of the internal space provides areas for sleeping and cooking. Many campervans have fold-down double beds and gas hobs.

Motorhomes are purpose-built and include all mod cons and amenities, which may include a U-shaped lounge, double bed, bunk beds, wet rooms, and eating and sleeping areas.

A compact campervan is ideal for couples or small families. Motorhomes can accommodate larger groups in style and comfort.

What sort of equipment is included in a campervan or motorhome hire?

Our campervans and motorhomes are fully equipped with everything essential for your road trip.

The kitchen area will be stocked with cooking utensils, including the all-important corkscrew and tin opener.

We provide a cleaning pack including a wash basin and washing up liquid.

Does Freedhome offer dog-friendly motorhome hire?

Dogs are part of the family, too, so you want them to come on holiday with you. Don't worry, we offer five pet-friendly campervans to accommodate well-behaved dogs.

Don't forget: your package includes Camping and Caravanning Club membership and access to their sixty-plus campsites where dogs are welcome free of charge.

Festivals

Reasonably priced accommodation is often booked at festival time, so hiring a motorhome or compact campervan is an excellent solution. When you have both your means of travel and your accommodation covered, you can relax and enjoy the show.

When do I pay for my motorhome hire?

We ask customers for a £250 deposit at the time of booking and then for the outstanding balance in full eight weeks before the hire period begins.
